Pier is involved with Fund Strategy and Investments. He is based between London, Cape Town and Singapore and is involved with overseeing strategic opportunities for the fund and supporting with fund management. He is also on the investments team, supporting sourcing and reviewing companies especially with healthcare.

Pier is a qualified doctor with training in trauma surgery in South Africa. He completed his MBA before going on to found 3 startups, advise and invest in others. He has been involved with several digital health projects on a national level in Singapore and is finishing up his Phd in AI and digital health in the Netherlands.

In his spare time he enjoys triathlons, diving and going off-grid in the African bushveld. He is also a part-time biscuit designer.
