Kartik Sharma is Portfolio Manager at Launch Africa Ventures. His primary workflows include managing LAVFI assets, supporting portfolio founders, and generating liquidity from top assets.

Kartik is an experienced investment professional with 100+ deals under his belt across 24 markets in Africa and two investment firms. He is actively involved with Five35 Ventures, helping the fund identify and invest in the best female-led companies on the continent. 

Prior to Launch Africa, Kartik spent time at the CFO’s office in Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank managing the bank’s global risk weighted assets. He also operated a start-up in the crypto space in 2016/2017, building an audience of 30,000+ readers per month.

Outside of work, Kartik loves to travel and operates as a digital nomad, rotating between South Africa, Kenya, Mauritius, India, and more.
