ShareCARD is a data intelligence platform that helps organizations track and verify program delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder projects. The platform combines an offline-first mobile application, real-time dashboards, and scannable beneficiary ID cards to digitize field operations and create trusted data at the last mile. Field agents capture GPS-verified data linked directly to beneficiaries, enabling governments, NGOs, and development partners to monitor impact in real time. Built for low-connectivity environments, ShareCARD ensures programs reaching rural communities can be tracked, verified, and managed with the same transparency and efficiency as modern digital systems.
Why we Invested:
Across Africa, agriculture and development programs serving 500M+ smallholder farmers still rely heavily on paper-based reporting, creating inefficiencies, fraud risk, and limited visibility for funders. ShareCARD addresses this structural gap with a scalable SaaS platform designed specifically for last-mile environments. Its offline-first infrastructure, QR/NFC beneficiary identity system, and real-time dashboards create a trusted data layer for organizations delivering resources and services. With pilots reaching 100,000+ farmers and 500 businesses, and a pathway to 5M farmers across multiple markets, ShareCARD has the potential to become critical digital infrastructure for impact delivery across Africa’s agricultural and development ecosystems.
The Founder:
Sandra Awilli is the Founder and C.E.O of ShareCARD, a Ugandan tech startup transforming data management, traceability, and resource access for agriculture and underserved communities. Inspired by challenges faced during the COVID lockdown, Sandra created solutions to decentralize access to menstrual resources for girls in need. Today, ShareCARD drives digitization and accountability for programs in agriculture, entrepreneurship, humanitarian aid, and education, ensuring every project is impactful, every resource traceable, and every outcome measurable.
