REasy provides access to Rapid and Easy cross-border payments

What they do:

REasy is a fintech platform designed to simplify cross-border trade between Africa and the world.

We enable African businesses, especially SMEs, to pay their suppliers anywhere in the world, in any major currency — whether euros, US dollars, UAE dirhams, or others. With a strong focus on China, payments to Chinese suppliers are processed instantly and securely through trusted channels such as Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, and bank transfers.

Our mission is clear: to make trade simple, seamless, and compliant for African importers. To achieve this, we go beyond payments by offering integrated shipping and logistics solutions, ensuring that every step of the trade process — from payment to delivery — is streamlined and reliable.

By combining financial technology with logistics expertise, REasy unlocks new opportunities for growth and competitiveness for African businesses across the continent.

Why we Invested:

REasy operates at the intersection of three underserved and high-growth sectors in Africa: cross-border B2B payments, SME trade facilitation, and B2B logistics. These verticals are critical to enabling intra-African and international trade, yet remain inefficient and informal—particularly in Francophone West Africa, where REasy is initially focused.
REasy is targeting a high-potential segment within the €300B annual Africa–China trade corridor, with €150B of that volume concentrated in West and Central Africa; its initial focus markets.

Critically, over 60% of these transactions occur via informal channels, driven by a lack of trust in traditional financial systems, slow processing times, and punitive FX costs. African SMEs, particularly merchants and industrial players face payment delays ranging from two weeks to two months when using traditional banks, often incurring fees of 3–10%. This inefficiency creates significant demand for alternative, fast, and transparent payment and logistics solutions.
