Moove is democratizing access to financial services for mobility entrepreneurs

What they do:

Moove is an African-born, global mobility fintech company that provides revenue-based vehicle financing and financial services to mobility entrepreneurs across ride-hailing, logistics, mass transit, and instant delivery platforms. Moove offers a "drive-to-own" program, allowing drivers to finance their vehicles through a portion of their earnings, thus democratizing vehicle ownership for those who might not have access to traditional financing. Moove.io also provides other financial services, like credit, insurance, and e-banking, through their digital platform.

Moove has so far facilitated 36 million trips across a fleet of 10,000 Moove-owned vehicles in 9 cities globally.

Why we Invested:

Access to vehicle financing remains a major barrier for millions of gig workers across Africa and other emerging markets, where over 1.4 billion adults are still unbanked. Moove is solving this by offering a mobility-fintech platform that provides revenue-based vehicle financing to underserved entrepreneurs enabling them to own assets, build credit histories, and unlock stable incomes.

As Uber’s largest vehicle supply partner in EMEA and the operator of the Middle East’s largest EV fleet, Moove combines deep operational execution with strong ecosystem partnerships. Its proprietary credit scoring engine, embedded insurance, and growing international footprint position it as a key player at the intersection of financial inclusion, mobility, and sustainability.
