Open Account Trade Finance & SCF that works

What they do:

Finverity provides mission-critical supply chain finance infrastructure that powers trade finance for banks across Africa and emerging markets. Its flagship product, Finverity OS, is a white-label platform that enables banks to digitize and automate complex working capital products from factoring and reverse factoring to distributor finance through a single, modular system.

By reducing supplier onboarding times from three months to 30 days and automating reconciliation and validation through AI, Finverity helps banks unlock access to liquidity for SMEs, bridging a global $2.5 trillion trade finance gap. The company’s infrastructure supports over 17 product types, integrates seamlessly with core banking systems.

Why we Invested:

Across Africa, banks continue to rely on outdated, manual processes that limit their ability to provide financing to SMEs — the very businesses driving economic growth and job creation. This has contributed to a persistent trade finance gap that constrains intra-African trade and limits participation in global value chains.

Finverity’s platform transforms this landscape by equipping regional and mid-tier banks with the digital infrastructure needed to manage and scale supply chain finance programs efficiently. By automating onboarding, reconciliation, and risk management, the company enables banks to extend financing to previously underserved businesses, enhancing liquidity and fostering inclusion across the supply chain.
